2021

July

We kicked off the 2021 season by supporting and equipping the El Naranjo camp. This camp holds a special place in our hearts as it was one of the first we visited. This year, we were finally able to contribute to its operation.
Here’s what our donation included:

  • HP dk 1010 Laptop: $10,568
  • 8 Printed Banners: $1,770
  • 25 Long-Sleeve Shirts: $2,755
  • 25 Mesh Caps: $1,015
  • 200 Nest Markers: $3,480
  • 50 Collection Bags: $1,450
    TOTAL: $21,038

We’d like to highlight the importance of the laptop, as El Naranjo is one of the camps most focused on environmental education. This tool allows the team to give presentations and workshops to local communities and camp visitors.

November

Unfortunately, extreme weather often takes a toll on turtle camps. This month, heavy rains and winds destroyed the camp’s main shelter. The team reached out for help, and we were able to donate materials to rebuild it.

  • Roofing materials: $11,865
